Jordan Westburg Hits Three-Run Homer Tuesday
8 months agoBaltimore Orioles second/third baseman Jordan Westburg had a nice game at the plate in Tuesday's 12-8 Grapefruit League win over the Rays. The 25-year-old went 2-for-3 with a three-run home run. Westburg has put together a solid showing offensively this spring, batting .286 with two HR and five RBI in 28 at-bats. The O's have a ton of young depth, so while he may not be a lock to start the season with the team, he put forth a respectable .260/.311/.404 slash line in 228 plate appearances in 2023. Whether he starts the season with the O's will of course impact his fantasy value, but he will be worth a look if he does end up starting in one of baseball's best lineups.
