Jordan Westburg Heating Up In Triple-A
2 years agoBaltimore Orioles infield prospect Jordan Westburg went 1-for-5 with a two-run homer on Wednesday for Triple-A Norfolk. The 24-year-old had an impressive spring, but was off to a cold start to open his season and has started to turn things around of late. For the season, Westburg is now hitting .268 with three homers and nine RBI. Westburg was brought up as a shortstop, but he has transitioned to playing second base and third base with Gunnar Henderson holding down the fort at the position for the Orioles. With an impressive ability to hit for power and drive in runs, Westburg should be rostered in dynasty leagues. Westburg should be able to play his way onto the big-league squad at some point in 2023 and makes for an intriguing waiver wire when that happens in redraft leagues.
