Jordan Westburg Getting A Breather Saturday
4 months agoBaltimore Orioles infielder Jordan Westburg is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's contest against the visiting San Diego Padres. The former top prospect and 2024 All-Star slugged a homer and drew a walk in his four trips to the plate in Friday's 6-4 loss to the Padres and will give way to Ramon Urias at the hot corner on Saturday. The 25-year-old has busted out with a .267 average, 17 homers, six stolen bases, and an .805 OPS across 96 appearances on the season, production that grades out 27% above the league average, as per his 127 wRC+. Fantasy managers who either drafted him late or perhaps nabbed him off the waiver wire early in the season have to be pleased with the investment at a cheap rate.
