Jordan Walker Stays Hot With A Double And Solo Home Run
1 year agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Jordan Walker went 2-for-4 with a double, a solo home run, and a pair of runs scored in a 6-4 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday. Walker has been on fire lately and he kept it going in Sunday's victory. He extended the Cards' lead to 3-1 with a laser shot home run to left field off Johan Oviedo in the bottom of the third inning. He would add his 15th double later in the contest as well and come around to score his second run. The 21-year-old rookie has been sizzling at the dish, perfect timing with the fantasy postseason getting underway. Over the last 15 contests (51 at-bats), Walker is rocking a .333/.407/.588 triple-slash line with three home runs and eight RBI. Overall, he's got a .274/.341/.453 batting line with 14 home runs, 42 RBI, and six stolen bases across 329 at-bats. He's really come into his own lately and should find himself creeping up draft boards next season.
