Jordan Walker Homers On Sunday In Cardinals Win
1 day agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Jordan Walker slammed his second homer of the 2025 season on Sunday afternoon at Busch Stadium to help the Cardinals get past the Phillies, 7-0. Walker's two-run shot to left field came in the eighth inning off relief pitcher Carlos Hernandez and closed out the scoring for the day. Walker is hitting .275 with two home runs, two stolen bases, and a .336 wOBA in his 14 games this season. He looks much more comfortable at the plate this season after hitting only .201 last year, and he is still just 22 years old, so he still has plenty of breakout potential. The win on Sunday gave the Cardinals the series win over the Phillies and gives them a chance to get to .500 with a win on Monday night against the visiting Astros.
