Jordan Walker Homers In Triple-A
1 year agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfield prospect Jordan Walker was impressive in a game for Triple-A Memphis, going 3-for-5 with three RBI and a 416-foot home run that was 105.7 mph off the bat. Baseball's top prospect has struggled since his demotion, slashing .274/.321/.397 with a 25.6% strikeout rate. He started the season with the major-league squad, going on a 12-game hitting streak early, but went cold, going 5-for-26 in his last eight games with the Cardinals. The 20-year-old is getting closer to his big-league return so the time to stash is now.
