Jordan Staal Continues Great Start Against Vancouver
6 years agoCarolina Hurricanes center Jordan Staal has been one of the best fantasy assets around early in the year, doing it all for Rod Brind'Amour's team. He shares the team-lead in goals following his third strike of the year in Tuesday's 5-3 win over Vancouver, sits on five points, just one behind Sebastian Aho, and has recorded a team-high 19 hits and 57 faceoff wins. He's also finished with a positive plus/minus in all four games thus far, registering a plus-five for the whole season, which trail's only Ottawa's Dylan DeMelo (plus-seven) in the league. This looks like a start of a monster year.
