Jordan Spieth Looks To Get On Track
6 years agoJordan Spieth enters this week's AT&T Byron Nelson without a top-20 result in his past 13 tournaments. It has been a roller-coaster ride for the 39th-ranked player in the world, but Trinity Forest does provide some reasons for optimism for the American. Two major issues have plagued Spieth's game. For starters, he ranks 162nd on tour in three-putt avoidance, and secondly, he comes into the week ranked 205th in strokes gained off the tee. Three-putt avoidance might continue to be an issue with the astronomically large greens at the Dallas venue, but the fairways are as wide-open as can be and Spieth might be able to find some success with his driver. He remains a risky proposition at his $10,800 price tag on DraftKings, but his reduced ownership puts him in play for GPP contests.
