Jordan Spieth had a strong Sunday at The Valero Texas Open. Total for the tournament, he gained 10.9 strokes tee-to-green and 6.2 on approach. That was Spieth's highest total tee-to-green since the Valero in 2021. The 2015 winner of The Masters, struggled on the greens last week, losing 7.2 strokes putting. Spieth's history at Augusta National is well documented. It is an encouraging sign to see him hit the ball so well last week. If his ball-striking continues and he improves the putting he should find himself in contention again. Spieth is a recommended play this week in all formats. --Rob Giltner - RotoBaller
