Jordan Spieth A Risky Option At WM Phoenix Open
46 seconds agoJordan Spieth delighted golf fans with his return to action at last week's Pebble Beach Pro-Am, marking his first appearance since his wrist surgery in August of 2024. Understandably, the former World No. 1 looked rusty, losing strokes across the board while finishing 69th out of 80 golfers in the field. Surprisingly, DraftKings increased his salary by $800 for the WM Phoenix Open this week, so fantasy managers will likely find an ownership advantage in guaranteed prize pools on DraftKings. Spieth does have incredible course history here, racking up five top-10 finishes in just eight career starts, including back-to-back T6 results in 2023 and 2024. Perhaps a return to TPC Scottsdale could provide a spark for the 13-time Tour winner, but fantasy managers will undoubtedly be taking a risk by rostering him following his ugly performance last week.
