Jordan Romano Takes Second Loss Of Season Monday
2 years agoToronto Blue Jays closer Jordan Romano fell to 2-2 in Monday's 6-5 loss to the Red Sox. Romano came in to pitch the bottom of the ninth and keep things tied 5-5. However, he allowed a leadoff, walk-off solo home run to Alex Verdugo to end the game. Despite this blemish, Romano has pitched well so far this season, converting nine of 10 save opportunities with a 3.65 ERA and 11.68 K/9 rate. He should continue to be a reliable closing option for fantasy managers.
