Jordan Romano Secures Second Save
4 years agoToronto Blue Jays reliever Jordan Romano locked down his second save of the season during the team’s 6-4 win over the Rays on Monday. The right-hander allowed a walk and a hit while striking out one in the scoreless effort, lowering his ERA to 0.64 through 14.2 IP. Romano has now received the call in the ninth for the second time in a row as it appears manager Charlie Montoyo has found his new go-to guy for saves with Ken Giles out. Romano holds significant fantasy value with his sterling ratios, and now that he’s closing games, he needs ownership in all formats.
