Jordan Romano Earns 28th Save Of Season Tuesday
2 years agoToronto Blue Jays closer Jordan Romano picked up his 28th save of the season in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Cubs. Romano came in to pitch the ninth inning with a two-run lead. He got the first out on a flyout, hit a batter, but then got the final two outs on another flyout and a popout. Romano has been a higher-end fantasy option once again this season, converting all but four save opportunities with a 2.15 ERA. He should continue to bolster fantasy teams' performances down the stretch with the Blue Jays in the hunt for the playoffs.
