Jordan Romano Earns 19th Save
1 year agoOn Wednesday, Toronto Blue Jays relief hurler Jordan Romano secured his 19th save of the season by conceding just one run in the ninth inning against the Orioles. Given the responsibility to defend a three-run advantage in the final inning, Romano gave up three hits and an earned run but recovered. With 19 saves, the 30-year-old has also posted a 3-2 record, a 2.89 ERA, and 34 strikeouts in 28 innings. Romano has cemented himself as one of the top closers in the league, and he is an excellent relief option to have in fantasy.
