Jordan Romano Day-To-Day With Undisclosed Injury
3 years agoToronto Blue Jays closer Jordan Romano was unavailable for Monday's game against the Seattle Mariners, Sportsnet reports. He's experiencing some sort of ailment which has yet to be specified. Romano will be evaluated further and is considered day-to-day at this point. The Canadian has been one of the top fantasy relievers so far in 2022, posting a 3.07 ERA, 27.9 K%, and 1.23 WHIP with 12 saves in 14 chances. With Romano out, expect right-hander Adam Cimber, the only other pitcher with a save this season, to act as the interim closer. Once Romano's back, he should be right back in that role.
