Jordan Romano Collects 13th Save
3 years agoToronto Blue Jays reliever Jordan Romano shut the door on the White Sox Wednesday to secure the save in the club's 3-1 victory. He worked around a leadoff single by getting Andrew Vaughn to ground into a twin killing before Cesar Hernandez hit a lazy fly to center to end the ball game. Romano blew his first save chance of the season back on April 8, but since then he's a perfect 13-for-13 in his sporadic opportunities this season. Although the right-hander's save total isn't the highest, he's keeping plenty of fantasy value with a 2.33 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, and 62 K in 46 1/3 IP on the campaign.
