Jordan Reed Scores First Touchdown Since Week 1
6 years agoWashington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed hauled in seven catches for 71 yards and his first touchdown since Week 1 in Sunday's loss to the Texans. He saw 11 targets, his most since Week 8, and his 71 yards were a season-high. Ironically enough, Reed's touchdown reception came from the arm of Colt McCoy, who was forced into action following a devastating injury to Alex Smith. It will be interesting to monitor whether or not McCoy looks to Reed more often in the passing game going forward, considering he's the only established option the Redskins have. For the time being, Reed may be back on the fantasy radar at the tight end position as McCoy's "safety net."
