Jordan Reed In Danger Of Missing Final Three Games
6 years agoWashington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed (foot), who suffered a foot sprain in Week 14, isn't believed to be dealing with a serious injury, but he could be in danger of missing the rest of the season with only three games remaining. He is having a precautionary MRI exam on Monday. It seemed too good to be true that the injury-prone Reed hadn't missed a game all season. That could definitely change now that he is dealing with a foot sprain on a team that has collapsed in recent weeks due to key injuries to starters. Reed never gained much chemistry with Alex Smith and had less of a chance to make fantasy noise with Colt McCoy and Mark Sanchez as starters. You definitely shouldn't count on him the rest of the way. If he misses any games, Vernon Davis will step in as the main pass-catching tight end and is worth considering as a TE2 streamer, although now Josh Johnson is the team's starter under center.
