Jordan Poole Logs High-Scoring Start
4 years agoGolden State Warriors guard Jordan Poole recorded his first start of the year on Friday with Stephen Curry (tailbone) out, and the 21-year-old had a fine evening with a season-high 25 points on 10-for-15 shooting in a 116-103 win over Memphis. Damion Lee also took advantage of Curry's absence and had his best performance of the season with 21 points. Poole shot 3-for-6 from three-point range and added a pair of rebounds and assists to his line with one steal. Curry looks highly unlikely to play in Saturday's rematch with Memphis, ao Poole and Lee should continue to log some extra minutes, and they deserve the attention of all fantasy managers.
