Jordan Montgomery To Take Hill For Game 2 Of World Series
1 year agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Jordan Montgomery will be the starter for Game 2 of the World Series against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Bruce Bochy declined to name a Game 2 starter when he first named Nathan Eovaldi the starter for Game 1. Montgomery has had a career year and finds himself one of the better pitchers in the World Series this year. His 138 ERA+ was a career-high and he did even better after moving from the St. Louis Cardinals. The 30-year-old posted a 160 ERA+ in a Rangers' uniform.
