12 months agoStarting pitcher Jordan Montgomery was a big piece of the Texas Rangers championship season, and they are hoping to bring him back for 2024 and beyond. With an ERA of 3.20 and an FIP of 3.56 in 2023 for the Rangers and St. Louis Cardinals, Montgomery should be on most teams' radar this offseason. The soon-to-be 31-year-old was a top-30 starting pitcher for fantasy purposes in 2022 and 2023, so he should be able to keep that pace for a couple more seasons at least. Montgomery has pitched at least 30 games in three straight seasons, and while his strikeout rate has decreased over that time, he's gotten better in the walk and ERA departments.--Justin Raffone - RotoBaller
