Jordan Montgomery Leaves BP Session Tuesday
5 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Jordan Montgomery (elbow) had a setback in his recovery from Tommy John surgery and left a live batting practice session in Florida after just 15 pitches on Tuesday. Manager Aaron Boone said that Montgomery is hoping he just wasn't feeling good for the day. Montgomery and the Yankees were hoping that he would be an option for them at some point in August, but this setback could push him back even further. The left-hander has some fantasy appeal in mixed leagues when he's healthy, but you shouldn't be expecting much, if anything at all, from him for the rest of this season.
