After just seven pitches, New York Yankees starter Jordan Montgomery was pulled from Tuesday’s game against the Houston Astros with left elbow tightness. The 25-year-old showed no signs of trouble in his lone inning of work, pitching effectively to retire the side. The left-hander will return to New York to be examined by team physician Christopher Ahmad. More updates will follow as further reports emerge on Montgomery’s status.--RDelgado
