Jordan Montgomery Allows One Run In Five Innings Of Work
3 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Jordan Montgomery delivered a solid effort despite the no-decision Sunday against the Red Sox. Montgomery pitched five innings, allowing one run on seven hits with zero walks issued. The lefty struck out four batters while generating nine whiffs. Montgomery has been brilliant over his last three starts, as he has allowed just three runs while posting a 22:2 strikeout-to-walk ratio. He'll be a solid streaming option in his final scheduled start against the Rays. Montgomery owns a 3-1 record and a 3.18 ERA in 28 1/3 innings against Tampa Bay this year.
