11 months agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Jordan Mason might spend a third consecutive game as Christian McCaffrey's primary backup on Monday night when the team hosts the Baltimore Ravens. Last week in Arizona with usual backup Elijah Mitchell (knee) sidelined, Mason handled five carries for 20 yards, which has been par for the course for all 49ers running backs not named McCaffrey. Fantasy managers may decide that they still want to carry Mason or Mitchell as a stash for championship week in case of a McCaffrey injury, but neither back will be startable on Christmas night.--Brad Beltz - RotoBaller
