2 years agoCarolina Hurricanes winger Jordan Martinook wrapped up the second-round series against New Jersey by matching a franchise record on Thursday, posting an assist in a fifth consecutive game. He helped to set up Jaccob Slavin for his second postseason goal. Martinook joined Sebastian Aho and Cory Stillman as the only players in franchise history with a five-game assist streak in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Martinook reached the milestone in a special manner, posting a whopping 10 points in the five-game series.
