Jordan Luplow Launches 10th Home Run On Tuesday
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Jordan Luplow went 3-for-5 with a three-run home run and an additional run scored during Tuesday's 12-7 win over the Boston Red Sox. He launched a three-run homer in the seventh inning to extend the Rays lead 12-1. It was his 10th long ball of the season. The 27-year-old is starting to heat up and has now homered twice over his last three games. Ji-Man Choi is expected to return to the lineup soon, which could cut into Luplow's playing time. The former Cleveland Guardian can be used as a streamer against southpaws. Overall, Luplow is slashing .197/.333/.458 with 10 home runs, 26 RBI, and 22 runs scored over 171 plate appearances in 2021.
