4 years agoGreen Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that rookie quarterback Jordan Love has "a lot to clean up right now" when asked about his impressions of the young signal-caller so far in camp. "He’s a young quarterback that is learning a new system, and just how specific we are with the footwork. I think that takes time. But I am pleased at how he attacks it on a daily basis. I think he's a really intelligent kid," LaFleur said. Green Bay shocked the world by trading up in the first round of the draft to take Love as their QB of the future as the heir apparent to Aaron Rodgers. There's plenty of athleticism and potential in the long term, but Love will need to improve his accuracy, mechanics and decision-making if he has any chance at unseating Rodgers in the next few seasons.
