Jordan Lawlar Homers In Back-To-Back Games
2 years agoArizona Diamondbacks shortstop prospect Jordan Lawlar went yard in his second consecutive game for Double-A Amarillo on Tuesday. His two-run blast was his only hit of the evening, but he also drove in three runs and drew a walk. The 20-year-old is now hitting .290 with three homers, eight RBI and five stolen bases in just 31 at-bats. The young talent hasn't missed a beat since being drafted sixth overall in 2021, and he remains one of the brightest prospects in the game. His ability to be patient at the plate with a combination of power and speed makes for a potential superstar in fantasy leagues. He is unlikely to make an impact at the big-league level in 2023, but he should be rostered in all dynasty leagues and is a name for fantasy managers in redraft leagues to keep an eye on for the 2024 campaign.
