Jordan Lawlar Hits 14th Home Run
1 year agoArizona Diamondbacks shortstop prospect Jordan Lawlar hit his 14th home run of the season in a 2-for-5 showing for Double-A Amarillo. While he started the season cold, he has rounded back to top-prospect form. Since May 30, Lawlar is slashing .302/.393/.553 with nine home runs, 25 RBI, 49 runs, and 16 stolen bases in 44 games, raising his OPS from .666 on May 30 to now .824. With the Diamondbacks low on infield depth after trading Josh Rojas, Lawlar could get a September call-up. He is worth watching or stashing in redraft leagues.
