Jordan Lawlar Hitless In First Rehab Outing
5 months agoArizona Diamondbacks shortstop prospect Jordan Lawlar (hamstring) went 0-for-3 with three strikeouts on Saturday night, playing in Rookie Ball. Despite a poor performance, taking the field marked an important step in his return to MLB. It was his first appearance since straining a hamstring in mid-June. At that point, he'd been rehabbing a torn thumb. Fortunately, Lawlar appears fully healthy. Arizona's top prospect (per MLB.com), he'll likely get playing time for the D-Backs in the second-half.
