Jordan Howard Runs the Ball Six Times in Week 1
5 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Jordan Howard carried the ball six times in Week 1, gaining 44 yards. He also caught two passes for 11 yards through the air. Howard trailed Darren Sproles (9) and Miles Sanders (11) in carries, but averaged the most yards per carry in the Eagles backfield with 7.3. Howard was efficient, but seemed to take a backseat to Sproles and Sanders in the backfield. With Corey Clement still around and sure to play on offense eventually, Howard looks like a touchdown-dependent, low-upside running back option going forward.
