1 year agoSt. Louis Cardinals relief pitcher Jordan Hicks is reportedly in contract talks with the organization. The two sides appear to be close on a multi-year contract extension. The expectation is that the deal will get done in the coming days. The right-handed reliever has been filling in as the closer with Ryan Helsley (forearm) sidelined. He currently holds a 3.67 ERA, 1.51 WHIP, and 59/24 K/BB ratio across 41 innings this season.
