Jordan Eberle Scores Twice In Isles Win
4 years agoNew York Islanders right wing Jordan Eberle potted two goals in Saturday's 4-3 win over Pittsburgh, striking twice in the opening period. Michael Dal Colle had assists on both of Eberle's goals, and Cal Clutterbuck and Anders Lee finished off the job for the Isles. The former Oiler finished up with a team-high seven shots and also delivered one hit in 17:18 on the ice. Eberle now has five goals and seven points for the year with 28 shots and 10 hits. A lot of fantasy managers have steered clear of him this season because the 30-year-old just doesn't do enough to warrant a place on the roster, but Eberle has a habit of going through hot stretches at times, so be on the lookout for those.
