Jordan Akins Hauls In Four Passes
3 years agoHouston Texans tight end Jordan Akins caught four of five targets for 32 yards in Thursday's 24-9 loss to Carolina. Akins operated as a safety blanket of sorts for rookie quarterback Davis Mills, who connected with the tight end over the middle of the field for an 8.0 yards per reception mark. Akins saw the third-most targets on the team a week after out-targeting Pharaoh Brown, so it's probably safe to assume that the former has the playing time edge. Still, this is a tight end room that fantasy managers want no part of moving forward.
