1 year agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Jontre Kirklin acted as the alpha receiver while fighting for a roster spot in the NFL's 2023 preseason finale. Kirklin was targeted 10 times, grabbing five receptions for 63 yards. The former XFL star is a long-shot to make the initial 53-man roster, but could be an interesting practice squad addition for New Orleans. He will be competing with Keith Kirkwood, Tre'Quan Smith, Shaquan Davis, and Lynn Bowden to make the roster as a fifth or sixth receiver.
