3 years agoNew England Patriots tight end Jonnu Smith (shoulder) logged his second consecutive limited practice session Thursday. Smith has not yet missed time this season, while his role in the Patriots' offense has remained fairly steady on a weekly basis. Having logged at least five targets in five of the team's first seven games, Smith is largely a touchdown dependent option from a season-long fantasy perspective. With Hunter Henry having hauled in a score in four consecutive weeks, Smith remains on the periphery of even the deepest formats. His availability for Sunday's game against the Chargers doesn't appear to be in question, but he's worth checking back on as the week progresses, as Henry would stand to see an elevated role if Smith is unable to suit up.--Jesse Borek
