7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers infielder Jonathan Villar will take the day off on Tuesday for customary rest as the Brewers take on Sal Romano and the Cincinnati Reds. This would be a platoon case where Villar would sit against lefties, however, Romano is a righty, so this is just a rest day for Villar. Eric Sogard will take his place at second base. Villar has looked very solid this year, however, he will experience some volatile rest days here and there, as his spot is far from guaranteed unlike Travis Shaw or Lorenzo Cain. If you own Villar, make sure you have a second baseman who can be relied upon for consistent starts.--Caden
