Jonathan Schoop Transferred To 45-Day Injured List
4 years agoDetroit Tigers second baseman Jonathan Schoop (wrist) was transferred from the 10-day injured list to the 45-day injured list on Tuesday. His 2020 season is now officially over and fantasy owners in redraft leagues can safely drop him. Schoop had a solid first season with the Tigers, slashing .278/.324/.475 with eight home runs, 23 RBI and 26 runs over 44 games. His .475 slugging percentage this year was his highest season-long clip since his breakout 2017 season, where he slugged .503 and hit 32 home runs. He'll be a solid late-round sleeper to target in fantasy drafts come the spring of 2021.
