Jonathan Schoop Signs Two-Year Extension With Detroit
3 years agoDetroit Tigers second baseman Jonathan Schoop has agreed to a two-year contract extension worth $15 million, according to Jason Beck of MLB.com. Schoop has been one of the more productive hitters for the Tigers since joining the team in 2020, as he is slashing .286/.331/.470 with 26 home runs, 87 RBI and 86 runs scored over 151 games with Detroit. This locks Schoop in through his age-31 season, and he should continue to be among the better power-hitting second basemen in fantasy going forward.
