Jonathan Schoop Scratched Due To Back Tightness
3 years agoDetroit Tigers second baseman Jonathan Schoop (back) was scratched from Wednesday's lineup due to back tightness and not anything related to a trade. Schoop was originally set to bat second and start at first base against the Minnesota Twins and left-hander J.A. Happ. Instead, Harold Castro will start at first base and hit eighth for the Tigers. If you're looking for a last-minute streaming option, you're probably better off looking elsewhere. Castro is hitting .284 with a .330 on-base percentage and a home run in 201 plate appearances this season.
