Jonathan Schoop Isn't In Wednesday's Lineup
2 years agoDetroit Tigers second baseman Jonathan Schoop isn't in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Kansas City Royals and left-handed starter Daniel Lynch. So far this year, Schoop is hitting .203 with a .236 on-base percentage, 11 home runs, and five stolen bases in 484 plate appearances. Ryan Kreidler will get the start at second instead and bat seventh against the Royals. Kreidler has logged 61 plate appearances in the Majors this season, hitting .212 with a .271 on-base percentage and a home run. He could be worth a look as a streaming option in deeper leagues.
