Jonathan Quick To Start Again For Rangers Wednesday
9 months agoNew York Rangers goaltender Jonathan Quick is once again the team's starting netminder for their Wednesday night contest versus the visiting Tampa Bay Lightning. Quick somewhat surprisingly started the team's first game out of the All-Star break on Monday, defeating the Colorado Avalanche 2-1 in overtime while stopping 32 of the 33 shots he faced. He will once again get the starting nod over No. 1 Igor Shesterkin on Wednesday as he has indeed been the superior goaltender this season. Quick enters Wednesday's action sporting a 2.35 goals-against average and a .918 save percentage, going 11-4-2 on the season in 18 appearances. He will have his hands full against a Lightning team that has won three straight games.
