Jonathan Quick Picks Up First Shutout Of The Season
3 years agoLos Angeles Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick had a flawless performance against Ottawa as the team's winning streak reached seven games on Thursday. The veteran netminder pushed away 34 shots to register his first shutout of the season in a 2-0 win. Quick has been vitally important for the Kings lately, as he's delivered four of the victories during the current streak. He's improved to 4-3-1 for the season and now boasts a 1.98 goals-against average with a .935 save percentage. The Kings will likely come crashing down to Earth eventually, but fantasy managers should enjoy the ride while it lasts. They'll head out again on Saturday to end a four-game road trip in Winnipeg.
