Jonathan Quick Looks To Extend Point Streak
4 years agoLos Angeles Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick will start on Thursday against the Minnesota Wild, looking to extend his point streak to five games. The veteran netminder is off to a 2-0-2 start to the season with a 3.15 goals-against average and a .898 save percentage. The Kings have provided him with some really good goal support and he'll be hoping for more of the same on Thursday versus the Wild, against whom Quick has a 14-8-7 career record with a 2.66 goals-against average and a .899 save percentage. Minnesota has generally dominated this matchup at home with seven wins in the past nine games, so Quick's point streak faces a stern test.
