2 years agoOle Miss wide receiver Jonathan Mingo has slowly risen up in mock drafts since the 2023 NFL Combine. This year's wide receiver class features a ton of small-build receivers including Jordan Addison, Jalin Hyatt, and Zay Flowers, but there aren't a ton of big-bodies wideouts at the top of the rankings. Mingo stands 6'1" and weighs 220 pounds, making him one of the only receivers to come in at well over 200 pounds. He caught 51 passes for 861 yards and five touchdowns in his true senior season and impressed at the combine with a 4.46 forty-yard dash and a 39.5-inch vertical leap. He might not be a top WR prospect in a different draft class, but his size could set him apart from the other prospects in the 2023 class -- meaning he could find his way into the second round this weekend.
