Jonathan Marchessault Ties League Record In Game 4 Win
7 years agoVegas Golden Knights forward Jonathan Marchessault recorded an assist in Friday's 3-2 win over Winnipeg, extending his point streak to six games and tying the league record for the most points by a player in his team's first playoff appearance. He's got 18 in 14 games and with the Knights on the brink of reaching the Stanley Cup final, Marchessault will surely break the tie with Igor Larionov and Jude Drouin. He's closing in on the league's scoring lead as well. Four players currently share the lead with 21 points, but two of them have finished playing and the rest aren't currently picking up points as fast as JAM does.
