Jonathan Marchessault Makes History In Game 4
6 years agoVegas Golden Knights forward Jonathan Marchessault has slowed down quite a bit since the end of the Western Conference Finals, but he's still recording points at a historical level. He collected his 20th postseason point with an assist in Monday's 6-2 loss to Washington, setting an NHL record for most postseason points by a player in the franchise’s first-ever postseason campaign. Reilly Smith, who scored off of Marchessault's assist, also reached the landmark. Marchessault has picked up only two points (both assists) in the last five games and clearly needs to do more if Vegas is going to extend the series from a 3-1 deficit.
