Jonathan Kuminga To Miss Time With "Significant" Ankle Sprain
23 hours agoGolden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga (ankle) faces a multi-game absence. He was hurt in Saturday's contest against Memphis, leaving the arena on crutches. "It's a sprained ankle," Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said after the game. "We'll have more tomorrow. It is not going to be a day-to-day thing. It was a significant sprain. So we'll just have a report tomorrow once we get a better feel for it." With Kuminga limited to 15 minutes on Saturday, Kyle Anderson and Lindy Waters III logged 20-plus minutes off the bench. Waters III had one of his best outings as a Warrior, scoring 16 points. Buddy Hield and Moses Moody might also benefit from Kuminga's absence.
