1 month agoAnthony Slater of The Athletic reports that despite Golden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga (ankle) practicing on March 5th, there is still no timetable for his return. "He has to feel right. He has to feel healthy. He has to feel explosive. We can't rush that." Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said that regarding Kuminga. The 22-year-old hasn't played since January 4th due to a right ankle sprain. Golden State will be at home for six games in a row starting Monday against Portland, so fantasy managers should keep an eye on updates, as Kuminga could certainly return before the end of the week.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller

2 weeks agoGolden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga (pelvis) won't play on Tuesday versus Memphis. He logged only six minutes in Sunday's win over the San Antonio Spurs before taking a hard fall, suffering a pelvic contusion. As such, it appears there's a chance the 22-year-old could miss more time moving forward. In the meantime, Buddy Hield, coming off a 19-point effort, is the favorite to benefit the most off the bench. Gui Santos and Quinten Post could also see extra work.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

2 weeks agoGolden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga (pelvis) is questionable to play on Tuesday against the Memphis Grizzlies. The 22-year-old left Sunday's contest against the San Antonio Spurs early due to an ankle sprain but is now on the injury report with a right pelvic contusion. Kuminga's absence on Tuesday would open up a nice chunk of bench minutes in the Warriors' rotation. Buddy Hield and Gui Santos are the most likely candidates to fill these minutes. On Sunday, Hield cooked up a nice line in 25 minutes, finishing a blowout victory with 19 points, five rebounds, four assists, and three steals.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

3 weeks agoGolden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga (ankle) won't return to Sunday's game against the San Antonio Spurs. Kuminga was forced to exit in the middle of the second quarter after suffering a right ankle injury. The expectation is Kuminga will undergo further testing to determine the severity of the injury. For now, fantasy managers should consider Kuminga as day-to-day, but they should get an update on his status soon. Gui Santos and Buddy Hield should both benefit with more playing time with Kuminga not returning on Sunday.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

1 month agoGolden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga (ankle) has been upgraded to available ahead of Thursday's game against the Sacramento Kings. Kuminga is available to play after missing the last 31 games due to a right ankle sprain. That being said, Kuminga is going to be eased back into action after a two-month absence. Head coach Steve Kerr didn't say exactly how limited Kuminga would be on Thursday, but it'll likely be short stints during his first game back. Gui Santos figures to lose streaming appeal especially once Kuminga is back up to full speed.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
